So here's my first attempt at making a toddler dress from a tank top. (Yes, I know pink and grey again!) I got the idea from the WR site, but i altered it a bit. The original design was supposed to be for a sort of halter but the tank's straps were too short to be tied around the neck so i did that box pleat thing at the back as well. I just added the frilly things at the bottom (frilly things, heh. i don't even know the term!) to make it more colorful and girly.
I am reconsidering the ribbon, though, because it looks nice when the dress is laid out like that but when Pip wears it it just flops down. But, all in all, it's another success coz she didn't take it off until it was bath time. Yays!
