Patchdoll in Mourning

When I started picking out her colors, she was supposed to be a widow doll. Then, when she got the leg with the black boot, she became this little girl whose mom made her go in mourning for her lost father.

She knows daddy's not really lost, though, because he's sleeping in the garden, under the rosebushes.
