Still Alive. Still Crafting

Sorry for the absence. Was trying to piece my broken brain back together after the horror of Hell Week. Now I'm gearing up for "Summer 2010: Recreating Hell on Earth."

I did make a couple of things, just to prove that my synapses are still firing right.

First off, a pouch to hold current knitting projects. There was supposed to be some sort of loop thingy to hold the needles in place, but there was a bit of a struggle in the making of this oh-so-simple pouch. I don't want to talk about it anymore.

Next off is this knitted gadget cozy. Mah first evah project involving intarsia and weaving-in stitches. Not even close to perfect, I know, but I SWEAR I unraveled more stitches than I knitted up. Yet another lesson in half-assery on my part. Will I ever learn how to follow instructions? (No.) But it got done, and it looks kinda okay if you squint, so I count it as a win.

Meanwhile, "The Last Meshbag I Will Ever Knit" is STILL NOT DONE! It's on my desk, mocking me, and calling me all sorts of unrepeatable things. All I know is it has to get done before May. Perhaps with the help of some divine intervention.

Oh yeah, it's that time of the year again innit? Hopefully nobody sets my hair on fire this time.
