Crochet Hook from Chopstick

Cut up a few round wooden chopsticks which I was supposed to make into knitting needles for the kids to use.

Starting from the left: the first is the decorative end of the stick; the second is the pointy end which I cut off (third), then the last is the carved out hook.

Gave it some sandpaper action, then smoothed it out even more by rubbing it using the side of a smooth-barreled pen.

Here it is with the i-cord chunky yarn.  Works with the bulky acrylic yarn as well.

Next project?  Bigger.
