I have been meaning to turn this bandana into a skirt for Pip but one day when i dverdosed on the coffee again i suddenly had this urge to turn it into a bag. So without much of a pattern or plan and only a vague idea of what I wanted, I started cutting and just made it up as I went. I must admit I was surprised it turned out okay. And it's surprisingly roomy too. Pip can carry 2 to 3 board books, her drawing book (just a planner with blank pages) and a box of crayons. It can also makes a nifty shoulderbag for me. The strap turned out long enough.
The only setback is that the material is soft so it gets distorted when its used with stuff in it. And I didn't put a lining in it (yet). Anyway, I had another coffee-overdosed morning the other day and instead of finishing a doll I've been meaning to finish I found myself picking up a pen and making the instructions for this here bandana bag. hehehe. I love overdosing on coffee.
