More Adventures in Adventure Time

Mini Adventure Time dolls!  They're smaller than the first ones I made.  These are about 4 inches or so.  And I finally got around to making the other characters.

Princess Bubblegum

Princess Bubblegum's hair is knitted because that was the only way I knew how to make it look like bubblegum.  I've also been so tempted to make her in her various other dresses.  Maybe later.

Marceline The Vampire Queen
Marceline has ordinary string hair because she rocks that way.  I have had a lot of people ask me where her ax bass was.  It looks hard to do.  Maybe later.

Gunter and The Ice King
Ice King Close Up
I just finished Ice King this morning.  After a gazillion do-overs he's finally finished.  His body was always too small and I kept repeating the beard because I kept losing count.

Gunter takes the crown!
In contrast, Gunter was done in one day.  Good evil penguin! :)

New Mesh Bags

New mesh bags! Decided to chuck the Nest Tote design because the i-cord straps are a bit uncomfortable, and the row with the slip-slip-knit stitch was waaay too much for my poor brain to keep track of.

Anyhoo, aside from making that gift tag, I was also busy coming up with packaging for the bags. Details for that in my next post.

Monster Plushies

Plushies, started out as an experiment but when the kids saw it they wanted me to make more. They're about 3 x 4 inches, made of recycled clothes and a dead pillow. Am thinking of making smaller ones for keychains, charms, etc.
These plushies are for sale. Email scott.and.portis@gmail.com.

At long last I've finished the last of the Chrismas gift frames! The top ones are the 3x4 frames (good for those cellphone pics you can print out at photo stores), and the bottom ones are the 4x6 pic frames with tag space.

Christmas Project

I didn't know what to get in-laws for Christmas this year so i decided to make something. Frames were the most practical thing i could think of so here they are. I decided to make frames for Jacob's teachers too. The in-laws frames are 6x6 1/2. These are the teacher's frames. They're made from handmade paper with hand-sewn accents.

For those interested to order, I have none on stock but i can make some. I need at least a couple of days for a frame. I can customize so email details to scott.and.portis@gmail.com. I'll email you back the particulars. Just to give you an idea these frames (pictured) are priced at around P90 each. I'm based in Manila so those ordering outside Manila will have to either come to Manila or you gous will just have to wait till i set up an online paymeny system. :-)
