Muse Shoving Journals in My Face

Giving some attention to my poor neglected journals.  I haven't filled them all up yet, and already I'm planning on making yet another one.

Here, experimenting with some wax resist. Had to clean off some serious dust gathered on my watercolor box.

Caffeine-fueled Muse

 A few days ago, my muse decided to drop by and give me some coffee, but not to drink!  I couldn't comprehend the idea until I realized she'd stuck a Chinese brush in it.  Oh.

 Playing with coffee is fun!  Are these scales or eggs?  Egg scales!

When using coffee, you're never quite sure what you're gonna get until it all dries out.

Nice and subtle for shadows.

New! Old Stuff from Past Journals

Finally managed to dig out my old journals and drag myself to the scanner.  Whew.  Will most probably upload the whole lot onto the flickr account soon.  Will post everything here slowly, over time.  Or, you know, when I have nothing else to post.

If anyone's interested to know, the blue paint on the right is actually fabric stencil paint.  Heh.

Page left is a 'found poem' made from words cut out of a magazine.

More collages.  On page right, now with actual wire!

Auto

Finally gave in and started drawing cars. I had to do the color and shading from memory, so it's a bit off. Shiny surfaces confuse me greatly.
